See site below. Add a couple of hours as this site is usually a little short on time. You will also need a Mexican road atlas, the Guia Roji. Can get it at a large bookstore or Amazon.com. Then you need a Mexican car permit and car ins. See 2nd site.

very very long and 90% boring beyond all comprehension. but if you must know, according to google maps 802 mi – about 11 hours 38 mins

it obviously depends how fast you are going but I would say approximately 11 hours. It is about 805 miles according to mapquest...

That´s an interesting question. There are no records of the traveling time. But we can estimate on two basis. The distance between Mexico city and El paso: 1,250 miles The average speed of steam trains, was 25 miles per hour. So, the time should be 50 hours. Greetings from Mexico.

If I drive from El Paso across the Mexican Border, how far would I have to travel to get to Cuidad Juárez?
Also, do you have to pay any fees to get across or do I just show my passport? Im from the UK by the way

Juarez is literally right there. . .the border is off the 10 by the zoo. The travel time is really based on which part of EP you start at. If you're on the eastside, 35 min. If you're in north-central, about 25 min. If you're in sunland park, about the same. All in all, it's under an hour, not counting the wait to get across. Some EP residents work in Juarez and vice versa

You will have to show a valid passport and fill out a MFTTV (Migration Form for Tourists, Transmigrants, Visiting Businesspersons, or Visiting Consultants) at the border.
